Why Do People Believe in Tarot Cards and All That Other Occult Nonsense?

Question by Dodge: why do people believe in tarot cards and all that other occult nonsense?
I was in my local bookstore at the Mind/Body/Spirit section and there just seems to be book after book of delusional titles such as “Healing Angels” and “Love Spell” books, are there really people who buy into this stuff?

How Do You Start Learning to Interpret “Tarots Cards”?

Question by Julie B: how do you start learning to interpret “Tarots cards”?
I have a great book , that does all the “interpretation” for me,but that’s too easy, and the book is falling appart over the years…the most difficult thing to do for me…is to interpret the cards…on my own.
How do you do that? how do you learn to do that?where do i start ??the only thing i can do is to feel if they are “positive” or “negative” but i cannot interpret any better…i really want to learn! how do you do?
i have the “oracle de belline” and egyptians tarots as well.

Get the book “The Tarot Handbook” by Angeles Arriens. Its a great guide. In the back of the book, it links the numerology of the tarot (each card has a number on it) to the meanings. Also, find a class at a bookstore near year to start with. Start with an easy deck like the Rider Waite which has universal symbols.
